Have used this resort a few times and its always a good time. The house is warm and ready. The pricing is awesome. And the staff are great. Plus, an awesome history. A family owned resort that's been passed down through generations. Highly recommend!!
We had a great time fishing out of Eddys over the weekend. Wonderful service and nice clean ice house for the night. Had good action in Jack of Diamonds including a 26" walleye at 2:00 a.m. Sunday morning. Thanks Eddy!
I'm here for a summer gathering of musicians. It's very beautiful here next to Lake MiLacs. This is an ice fishing house rental business. This is my first time here and I had no trouble finding it.
First I want to say that I have nothing against the ice house that was provided. It was clean, warm and had everything we needed. But I do want to say that the location of the house was very poor for the time of year that we were fishing (1/29/2017). We were fishing in 12 feet of water and only caught one perch in the house. We actually only marked a few fish the whole 12 hours. My son had success by going into deeper water and then he marked perch and walleyes and caught them. I know there website says they pride themselves on moving houses frequently but in my case I feel they did not. We may have just went at a bad time where they didn't have a chance to move the house. Knowing what I know now my lesson learned is to tell them very early in the day that you think there is a problem with the location. Not much I can do about it now.
Very friendly. Nice proprietors who seem to care about the people they are serving. We used their access and they were very informative. Good reputation from friends who had used them previously. Will be back. Hopefully this weekend. Nice thing is they will be straight forward with you about the bite as well even if it is not hot.
